In this seminar, five pre-seed start-up projects will define strategic challenges for which students will work in teams to develop appropriate solutions. Mentors from industry will support the teams. In addition to a kick-off and closing event, we will organize regular seminar sessions to provide background information and support the student teams in their tasks.

Learning objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to

  • understand and apply basic concepts of entrepreneurship, including business modeling, lean startup approaches, and market analysis
  • work in a team, organize the division of work into individual tasks and coordinate the tasks to achieve a result
  • understand the specific challenges of startup projects
  • Interact with industry experts and potential users to develop answers/solutions to a specific challenge
  • present the results to startups and industry experts

Examination:

Team presentation at the final event, detailed appendix to the presentation with background information and active participation in all sessions

In the seminar, you will work on a project in teams of max five people. The groups are formed in the seminar.
