Robert Gerlach Creativity Scholarships
Since 2026, EnTechnon is also offering the possibility of a scholarship for doctoral researchers with a research interest in the field of creativity, funded by Robert Gerlach.
Call for applications for the awarding of Robert Gerlach Creativity Scholarships for doctoral candidates (in German)
Summary of the conditions:
The scholarship for doctoral candidates includes a monthly amount of €1,750 for a maximum period of 4 years (tax and social security-free, based on the monthly scholarship rate of the Studienstiftung's doctoral funding).
The scholarships can be combined with an employment contract at KIT (25% position, TV-L E13), which includes tasks in teaching at EnTechnon (such as organizing and conducting courses and exams, supervising theses, and related administrative processes).
Participation in projects is not possible in combination with the scholarship.

Wolfgang Grenke Entrepreneurship Scholarships
Since 2025, there has been a framework agreement at KIT with the sponsor and entrepreneur Wolfgang Grenke for scholarships for doctoral candidates and young researchers with a research interest in the field of entrepreneurship (more information).
Summary of the conditions:
The scholarship for doctoral candidates includes a monthly amount of €1,750 for a maximum period of 4 years (tax and social security-free, based on the monthly scholarship rate of the Studienstiftung's doctoral funding).
The scholarships can be combined with an employment contract at KIT (25% position, TV-L E13), which includes tasks in teaching at EnTechnon (such as organizing and conducting courses and exams, supervising theses, and related administrative processes).
Participation in projects is not possible in combination with the scholarship.
The scholarship for post-doctoral researchers includes a monthly amount of €2,000 for a maximum period of 2 years, with the same conditions as above.
