February 2024 Edition: Digital Healthcare Entrepreneurship

From 19th to 23rd February 2024, 28 students from eight universities took part in the Winter School on "Digital Healthcare Entrepreneurship". It was organised by EnTechnon at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in cooperation with the Universities of Basel and Strasbourg.

The participants had the task of developing digital solutions for challenges in the healthcare sector in international and interdisciplinary teams. The event offered a combination of theoretical foundations, practical application and expert reports, covering topics such as entrepreneurship, business models and the legal framework for digital healthcare solutions. The final presentations covered a wide range of health topics - from mental health to dental hygiene - and presented innovative digital solutions. This Winter School provided an inspiring opportunity for all participants to gain practical experience and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
