Entrepreneurship research

Contents

Content

Students choose from a variety of relevant and current research topics in the field of entrepreneurship and work independently in small teams on a topic that suits them. First, there is an introduction to common methods such as systematic literature research, design science, qualitative and quantitative data analysis and more. The seminar topic must be scientifically processed and presented on 15-20 pages as part of a written paper. The results of the seminar paper are presented in a block event at the end of the semester (20 min + 10 min open discussion).

Learning objectives

The basics of independent scientific work (literature research, argumentation + discussion, citation of literature sources, application of qualitative, quantitative and simulative methods) are developed as part of the written paper. The skills acquired in the seminar can be used to prepare a possible Master's thesis. The seminar is therefore particularly aimed at students who would like to write their thesis at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Management and want to gain in-depth experience with entrepreneurship research.
