Motivation

Design Thinking is key when it comes to developing customer-oriented ideas.
The innovation method was developed in Silicon Valley in the 1980s.
What other aspects can be added to this user-centric creative approach?
Does it address the needs and wants of Generation Y & Z for meaning and self-realization?
How can we go beyond state-of-the-art?

Research Goal

New Product Development Teams (NPDT) have certain values, competences, tastes, needs, wants, etc. We refer to these aspects as the ‘team constitution’.
What does research literature say about the following questions:
Are there theories and models that conceptualize the influence of NPDT constitution on the innovation processes?
Does the literature report empirical evidence (case studies, qualitative or quantitative data) on the matter?
Does the literature describe ways to incorporate these factors in the innovation process?

Method

Systematic Literature Review (SLR).
